Guzzi breakfast in DeKalb, IL.
It's the first Saturday of the month at the Junction restaurant. It
starts at 9 AM, 816 West Lincoln Highway (Rt. 38). Al Sloan
IL ABC Airmarshall highly recommends this ride.
ROCKERBOX Milwaukee August 23
A consortium of businesses on Center St. (in Milwaukee)
have conspired to put on a motorcycle block party called
ROCKERBOX, that will feature vintage and contemporary
European and Japanese motorcycles, café racers and
street fighters, sport tourers and street motards, on
Saturday August 23rd, 12pm to 8pm, one week before the
big Harley gathering. It will also feature three stages, with
bands and DJ's, beer tents, food vendors, a bike show
and swap meet, etc., etc..

We are looking for help spreading the word to encourage
folks to come on down and check it out, and for vendors for
the food and swap meet components of the festival.
Booths will be cheap and plentiful and the more the
merrier. So start digging out those old fenders and fairings
and encourage your friends to make a few bucks selling
those old odds and ends at a motorcycle festival that isn't
brand specific.

Blackhawk Farms Motorcycle Days and Campout
Sept 20th-21st
Join the Illinois Airheads Sept. 20 & 21 at Blackhawk
Farms Raceway for club motorcycle roadraces. Free
admission, $1 showers, track food (yecchh) available on
Saturday around lunch time. I'll bring a grill, a couple of big
coolers, firewood, coffee pot, etc. You may have to wait to
get to the infield as you have to cross the track. Look for a
large white GMC van with ladders on top and a teensy
little Airheads flag (not one of the big ones like all the
other states).

>From Chitown: Take I-90 west to the Rockton Road exit
(about 14 miles north of Rockford, 3 miles south of the
Wisconsin border). Go west on Rockton Road, through
town, cross over 3 bridges. After the 3rd bridge, take the
2nd right (north) onto Prairie Road (5.5 miles west of I-
90). The track is about 1 1/2 miles on the left. Be advised
I-90 has a couple of toll booths so have your $ ready.
