Blackhawk Farms Motorcycle Days and Campout
Sept 20th-21st
Join the Illinois Airheads Sept. 20 & 21 at Blackhawk Farms Raceway for club
motorcycle roadraces. Free admission, $1 showers, track food (yecchh) available on Saturday around lunch time. I'll bring a grill, a couple of big coolers, firewood, coffee pot, etc. You may have to wait to get to the infield as you have to cross the track. Look for a large white GMC van with ladders on top and a teensy little Airheads flag (not one of the big ones like all the other states).
>From Chitown: Take I-90 west to the Rockton Road exit (about 14 miles north of
Rockford, 3 miles south of the Wisconsin border). Go west on Rockton Road, through town, cross over 3 bridges. After the 3rd bridge, take the 2nd right (north) onto Prairie Road (5.5 miles west of I-90). The track is about 1 1/2 miles on the left. Be advised I- 90 has a couple of toll booths so have your $ ready.
